Study Medicine in Germany: Degrees Offered

Staatsexamen (State Examination)

In Germany, the path to becoming a medical doctor is through the Staatsexamen, not through separate bachelor's and master's degrees.

  • Preclinical Phase: Basic sciences and theoretical knowledge (2 years)
